Design and fabricate a custom case to hold plinths and artefacts and ceramics.

Core Services Provided:  design based off a curators brief of needs, technical drawings, 3D renders, procurement, fabrication oversight, installation, budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder coordination.

Design Concept / Inspiration: The South African National Gallery displays only one percent of its vast collection. At the Old Town House, a rotating series of exhibitions showcases these works, with this installation marking the first iteration. The brief called for a modular cabinet to display 12th century ceramics and artefacts from the Gallery’s 200-year-old collection. The cabinet was designed with adjustable shelves of varying sizes, integrated ventilation, and internal lighting to ensure both flexibility and preservation.
